As Director I oversee, direct, problem solve and support all aspects of the business.

My special skills:
I’m an accountant and have extensive experience in managing human resources, business, contract negotiation, quality management systems and accounting.

All about me:
I’m passionate about making a difference in the world around me. Above all else, I value people. That’s why I’m in the business of people. I love, love most sport! When I’m not at MBC you’ll often find me cheering on my son at a rugby union game or enjoying time with children, especially my baby grandson. I also enjoy spending time close to nature and the beautiful beaches on the mid north coast.

Jacob Deline

Business Manager

How I can help:
In my role I am responsible for development and implementation of software and IT infrastructure, I am also the fleet manager for our traffic control vehicles. I am the business development liaison and purchasing officer for all new equipment. I assist with data analysis and research and consult into growth of new sectors and areas.

My special skills:
Prior to commencing with MBC, I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and worked in business development and consulting for new / start-up businesses, market development, growth strategy and entering new and foreign markets.

All about me:
I am a Rotarian and have been since the age of 16 and am very proud and passionate about serving the community. My other passions are archery and my family bakery back in the USA. I enjoy reading and learning. I am constantly looking for new challenges and love developing myself and others.

Sunette Opperman

WHS Manager

How I can help:
As the Work Health and Safety Manager and advisor for Nursing, Labour, Traffic and Recruitment, I am here to ensure the safety of our staff, clients and members of the public. As the IMS Manager I am responsible for and passionate about systems and procedures, and to ensure we comply and remain certified in WHS, Quality and Environmental Standards.

My special skills:
With my background in development, marketing and Bachelors in Organisational Psychology, I manage not only WHS and IMS but also the mental health of our staff. Prior to being the WHS manager I was also responsible for recruitment and development of our Nursing Agency and manning the 24/7 on call phone. I regularly assist with labour and traffic recruitment and development and assist with managing our 50 plus fleet of vehicles.

All about me:
I love interacting and helping in the community. My passion is giving back and I love being responsible for our charitable donations and commitments. My main hobby is PHOTOGRAPHY…. Love it, love being creative and love the commitment.

As the Nursing Manager of MBC Nursing Agency, I am focused on the health and wellbeing of our clients.

I’m a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in Emergency and Critical care as well as community, Palliative and Rehabilitation nursing. I have been managing nursing teams for the past 8 years and have completed a Masters degree in Health Management.

All about me:
When away from work I like being outdoors. I stay active by running regularly and completing a Marathon each year.

I’m have been lucky enough to have worked with MBC since 2014, originally starting as a trainee. During that time, I have been mentored by our team of experienced Consultants who have shared their wealth of recruitment knowledge with me and I have completed formal training in Business and Social Media Marketing.

All about me:
I am a huge lover of all things beauty, food and dogs! In my spare time you will find me enjoying the sunshine with my partner and family.

How I can help:
I am the scheduler for the Newcastle and Hunter Region for the Traffic Control Division of the Business and I also assist with the daily Administration duties.

My special skills:
Prior to becoming a scheduler I worked in Administration for 10 years. I started in Reception then to Office Management plus Accounts and Payroll while completing my Certificate 3 in Business Administration.

All about me:
My interests are spending time with my family and friends who have a big impact on my life. I like spending my time at the beach, shopping, going to the movies and listening to music. I also really enjoy having quiet weekends at home watching tv shows and movies on Netflix in bed and eating junk food. The most important people in my life are my niece and my sister. I have a very creative side and have a very big passion for tattoos which I am working on getting more of at the moment.

Nathan Veerhuis

How I can help:
All aspects of traffic control planning, rostering & allocations of shifts, along with compliance and auditing, client and personnel management.

My special skills:
I have worked within the traffic management industry for over 5 years, starting as a traffic controller and progressing to team leader with the PWZTMP qualification and preparing hand drawn TCP’s. I'm currently working in a critical role drawing TCP’s using the latest software and scheduling shifts for the entire north eastern region of NSW for the business stretching from the Upper Hunter to Grafton and inland to Inverell. I currently provide assistance to all supervisors in the business to provide additional resources when required to ensure our clients receive an exceptional standard and expectations are exceeded no matter how small the project.

All about me:
My favourite sporting club is the Essendon Bombers in the AFL competition. In my down time I enjoy spending time with my beautiful girlfriend and I am also an avid gamer - I enjoy all consoles, but my preference is Nintendo and my favourite game is World of Warcraft.

With my background in Traffic Management, I have extensive skills in allocating and managing resources for general works right through to large scale civil construction projects. I have a strong work ethic and a can do attitude, I will never shy away from a challenge. I have significant experience in labour hire, recruitment and fleet management. I consider myself as a leader and role model who leads by example, I have developed excellent communication skills and have the ability to motivate people to be the best they can be.

I work in MBC’s accounts department assisting with creditors, debtors and NDIS claims.

I have worked in accounting for 30 years. I’m experienced in Payroll, Purchasing, Office Management, Debtors, Creditors and Budgets.

All about me:
When I’m not at MBC you’ll often find me walking along the amazing beaches in Port Macquarie. I also volunteer teaching Primary Ethics at a local primary school each week. My other interests are rock n roll and line dancing.

How I can help:
As staffing assistant for Nursing, I help to roster staff for new and existing clients and try to ensure clients needs are met with the staff provided.

My special skills:
I have worked in Aged Care as an AIN and Administration Assistant. Empathy for clients and our staff helps me to have a better understanding and deliver a high level of service to our valued clients.

All about me:
I'm a mum to a dancing daughter, my time is mostly taken up with her and her hobbies, but when I can I enjoy a good book, catching up with friends or exploring the sights and places with my family.

How I can help:
I’m MBC’s Payroll Officer. I work with our internal and external staff to ensure that everyone is paid accurately and efficiently.

My special skills:
I am a qualified bookkeeper with over 30 years’ experience in payroll and accounts administration. I have excellent analytical, financial administration, human resources skills and excel at excel.

All about me:
My passion is Pony Club, I have been a member of Pony Club since a teenager and currently I am the Pony Club NSW State Championship Scorer and have developed an online scoring system. I spend the majority of my weekends at Pony Club.

Bronwyn Williams

Payroll Consultant

How I can help:
My role at MBC is to process the weekly payroll for our Traffic employees. I also assist the accounts department.

My special skills:
My background is in Human Resources within the retail sector. I started my payroll career 19 years ago and upon the completion of my business degree moved into the HR environment and developed skills training and assessment, recruitment and selection.

All about me:
I am a Mum of 4 boys, which keeps me very busy. I enjoy being in the outdoors and indulge in reading. I am a friendly and approachable person, and enjoy meeting new people.

I am the business development specialist at MBC. My aim is to provide the connections between our clients and potential employees by way of filling vacancies with skilled workers and servicing our growing client base in a timely and professional manner.

My special skills:
My professional background and skills base include running my own business for 8 years, 20 years sales and managerial roles in the automotive industry and I am also now nationally accredited for OHS and as a Drug and Alcohol Officer.

All about me:
My personal interests are first and foremost - family, I also enjoy camping and outdoor activities such as fishing, shooting and 4wding.

New England Area Supervisor

How I can help:
I provide a wealth of experience & knowledge with Traffic Control management, auditing, compliance & client relations. I work directly with local councils, RMS & private contractors to generate a safe & productive service to meet traffic management expectations.

My special skills:
I have worked in the Civil Construction & Traffic Management industry for over 11 years & have been a team leader for many major projects. With my experience & understanding of traffic management my expertise will guide a team & client though the administration process to completion of works. I gather all information for road permits, traffic management plans & design traffic control plans.

All about me:
I have lived & worked in the New England for my whole life & enjoy meeting new & interesting people every day. I have a confident attitude & have a unique ability to interact with all walks of life, my passion is family, trust, commitment & dedication to succeed in life. My strengths of working with pride & relationship is important to me & my family. My interests are singing & song writing music, camping & fishing.

For the past 20 years I have worked in Reception/Administration. I'm passionate about customer service and enjoy meeting and greeting people.

All about me:
I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children, going to the beach, going on holidays, camping and riding bikes. I love to catch up with my family from Sydney when they come up and I also like socialising with my friends on a regular basis.
