Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Eastern Creek
Our client requires a team of skilled Desktop Support Engineers to work on a Windows 10 and Office 2016 deployment with new infrastructure for approx. 1100 users. An immediate start, the purpose of this role is to replace existing Windows 7 desktops/laptops with new hardware running Windows 10 and Office 2016 as part of the base system.
You will be capable of testing all packaged applications and report issues identified withthe software/processes to help improve the user experience. You will also deploy hardware to user desks, take user state images from existing devices and migrate to new devices. Installation of user software via SCCM and manual methods will also be part of the role.
If you can demonstrate experience migrating into a Windows 10 environment, as well as providing support to users after migration, we would like to hear from you. A drivers licence is an advantage as travel within the state may be necessary. Working days will be Friday – Tuesday, “weekends will be Wednesday and Thursday.
