Funding Administration Officer – Position Filled

Position: Funding Officer

Location: Newcastle

Our Government Client has an excellent 4 month contract available for an experienced Funding Administration Officer in Newcastle.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the analysis and prioritisation of funding applications
  • Allocating payments, processing invoices, creation and sending of receipts
  • Provide a range of administrative and support services
  • Provide relevant, accurate and timely information to a wide range of customers and other stakeholders
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and software applications and address customer and other stakeholder phone and email enquiries
  • Assist in the preparation of agenda papers, reports, executive briefs and correspondence
  • Undertake research and analysis activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve the clients’ policies, processes and procedures and implement changes in consultation with supervisor

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Current NSW C-Class Drivers Licence and willingness to travel
  • High attention to detail
  • General accounts experience – AP/AR/processing/invoicing
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritise own tasks in a high-volume environment to achieve targets
