Position: Workshop Technician
Start: Immediately
Location: Port Macquarie
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assembly of prototype builds under the direction of the Product Development Manager
- Participate in design reviews
- Coordinate with the production department
- Operate plant and machinery to manufacture prototype components
- Develop production level jigs and fixtures
- Provide work instructions to production staff for the required quality standard and timing
- Conduct quality, product process and process time audits
- Participate in product testing and evaluation
- Support the production department during high demand periods
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) knowledge
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
